Have you ever considered purchasing Little Words Project bracelets, but changed your mind after seeing the price? What if I told you I bought two Little Words Project bracelets and two stickers from their website and only paid $2.14? Crazy, right? But you can do it, too!

By utilizing the Little Words Project Rewards program you can get almost half the price off of bracelets, or mystery bracelets for free.

Little Words Project discounts sound good to me- and there’s no discount code required. In this article, I’ll show you all the ways you can rack up points to get your free bracelets.

What is Little Words Project?

Since Taylor Swift’s song, “You’re on Your Own, Kid,” friendship bracelets can be found almost everywhere. Some people even adorn their Christmas trees with garlands that look like friendship bracelets. Considering all this hype, I assumed the Little Words Project started roughly around 2022. However, the company has existed since 2013 and made strides before Taylor Swift helped make friendship bracelets popular.

The Little Words Project company strives to create a community of kindness and inspiration. CEO and founder, Adriana Carrig, attempts to keep that sense of community at the heart of the business. This makes sense considering Carrig started creating the Little Word Project bracelets for herself and her sorority sisters after she endured many years of bullying. Community and compassion are in the company’s bones.

My Honest Review of Little Words Project

Here are some of the things I like about Little Words Project:

  • The bracelets are pretty and encouraging

  • The brand's emphasis on empowerment

  • The company gives back to charities

Little Words Project isn’t just selling products to encourage you to be kind, they donate a portion (albeit only 1%) of every purchase you make to a charity. You get to choose the charity from a list after you purchase on their website or app, which is pretty cool.

What I don’t like:

  • The price

Despite the wonderful messages of empowerment and encouragement, I still can’t support the idea of a $25-$30 bracelet. I would, personally, rather make them myself. But, you can get the bracelets at a discount (or free)- and that’s something I can get behind. How? By joining the Little Loyalty Club.

Little Words Project Rewards Program: Little Loyalty Club

The Little Words Project rewards program, known as The Little Loyalty Club, is free to join.

There are three tiers to their rewards program: Crystal, Silver, and Gold. Crystal status does not require a purchase. You must spend $100 to become Silver or $200 for Gold.

As a Crystal member, you earn 1 point per dollar spent. 10 points equals a dollar back in rewards. You can redeem rewards when you reach $10, $20, or $30 worth of points (so, 100, 200, or 300 points).

Free ways to get points

I’m all about getting free rewards from loyalty programs- so, here are some ways Little Words Project rewards your activity on their website/app without you having to make a purchase:

  • Creating an account (30 points)

  • Following the brand on social media (5 points each for Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok)

  • Completing the Loyalty Quiz (20 points)

  • A gift on your birthday (50 points)

*I cannot guarantee that the birthday gift is given to customers who have not completed a purchase, yet. I am only assuming.*

100 points is equal to $10 off a future purchase. Without the birthday gift points, you can get 65 free points. If you can get the birthday points, too, that’s 115 points! $12 mystery bracelet here you come!

How to get points from purchases

If you already have Little Words Project bracelets, you likely have a treasure trove of points waiting to be redeemed.

Here are the ways you can earn points from purchases:

  • Connect your LWP bracelets to the Nice Nation Community (15 points per bracelet, up to 20 bracelets a year)

  • Post a review on their website after purchasing (30 points, 40 with a picture)

  • Upload pictures of receipts from authorized retailers (1 point per dollar spent on Little Words Project products)

  • First in-app purchase (10 points)

If you already have a collection of Little Words Project bracelets, you should connect them to the Nice Nation community ASAP. You can connect up to 20 bracelets per year, each for 15 points. That is a possible 300 points- equaling a $30 reward.

I also really like that the company rewards you for purchasing their products at other retailers- as long as the retailer is authorized to sell the product. If you purchase LWP bracelets at stores like Target, Urban Outfitters, Hallmark, Loft, Kohl’s, or similar companies, always take a copy of your receipt to get those points! At the time of this article, you can upload receipts from as old as May 2023.

How to Get Discounted Little Word Project Bracelets

No matter how many points you get, there are better deals than purchasing one of the full-priced bracelets to spend your rewards on.

Little Word Project sells mystery bracelets at a steep discount. One mystery bracelet costs $12, two for $20, or three for $30. If you’re looking to stay on the frugal side of things, but still want one of these bracelets for yourself or as a gift to someone (I’m told they make excellent gifts), this is the way to do it. You won’t get to choose the bracelets you get, obviously, but you will get to pick the size.

I ended up with over 200 points this year between free points and a previous purchase (a couple of friends and I wanted to check out the in-store option of DIY bracelet making for memories. I thankfully purchased that beading appointment on a sale, cause the price is crazy- but the memories are nice).

With my points, I got two mystery bracelets and two stickers on sale (yay Black Friday) for a grand total of $2.14. You likely have to spend more than your reward's value. For example, if you have a $20 reward, you’ll have to spend at least $20.01 (this is just a guess- I can't guarantee one way or the other).

Here’s a breakdown of what I received:

  • S/M See the Good bracelet (Usually $25)

  • S/M Electric bracelet (Usually $30)

  • Sticker $5

  • Sticker $5

The total cost without any discounts was originally $65, plus shipping. Buying the mystery pack was $20, so without my rewards and the Black Friday sale, it would have been $30. But I was able to get all of this for only $2.14!

I also happened to shop when there was free shipping with no minimum purchase amount.Free shipping is usually only offered if you spend over a certain amount at Little Words Project. Look for any special free shipping deals like the one I managed to snag- otherwise it’ll be about a $6.99 fee. The points don't expire quickly, so you'll have time to wait for the best deals if you're patient!

If you don’t want a mystery bracelet, there are other options. Little Words Project runs sales occasionally, and they have some bracelets and products that go on sale/clearance. If you do get bracelets (a mystery or not) remember to register them with the Nice Nation to get those points, too!

Small light pink bags spread out on counter beneath the mystery bracelets the author purchased from Little Words Project, one that reads See the Good and another with the word Electric. Below the bracelets are two stickers also ordered from the company.

Extra tip: Reuse Your Shipping Box!

When I got my order, it came in a cute pink box, and the box's inside was even cuter! I am not a fan of waste- especially when something is this cute. So, I took the box apart by unfolding the flaps, then flipped it the other way and refolded it inside out. You can see a tutorial for what I did here.

So, not only did I get the two bracelets and stickers for $2.14, but also a cute storage box for my room! I don’t know if the brand ever considered this use, but it’s a good way to avoid waste.

Final Thoughts

These Little Words Project tips are a great example of how you can still sparkle on a budget, especially if you’re already a customer of the brand.

Little Words Project is expensive and, thus, not frugal-friendly. However, I was surprised to find the ways they reward brand loyalty. There are ways for brand fans to purchase without paying full price, thanks to the Little Loyalty Club. If you love the products or know someone who does, I highly recommend joining the rewards program if you haven’t already.
